Jungle Jim was founded in 2011 by two friends and natives of the Amazon rainforest: Junior and Jaime. You will recognize both of them from videos and pictures from previous trips we've taken to the region.

Hello, my name is Junior Pizango Melendez, a Naturalist Guide with over 10 years of experience in the world of tourism. I was born in the heart of the jungle, in one of the native communities of our Peruvian Amazon, the Boras.
During my childhood, I had the opportunity to learn, survive, and enrich my knowledge with the help of my grandparents, parents, and uncles, who taught me to care for and love the jungle, which is the most beautiful treasure we have on this earth.
Today, I am here to share with you part of my culture, customs, and experiences lived over these years as a naturalist guide. I want to invite you to join the Jungle Jim Tours team on an adventure like no other. Hello!! My name is Jaime Ernesto Chávez Flores.
Nice to meet you!!
I was born in the deepest of the Amazon Jungle into a wonderfully large family of 5 siblings, our parents still to this day are fishers and farmers working tremendously hard to provide for themselves and the people they export to.
Born in one of earths most precious places, it was natural to me to step into a role of nature lover and protector of the jungle. I learnt everything about the environment that surrounded me and grew up extremely knowledgeable about the dangers the jungle faces everyday but I turned this dismay, with passion, drive and determination into an incessant desire to make a positive change. I came up with a solid solution to reverse damage caused to our land and ensuring it flourishes unharmed by outside interference and even the local inhabitants who through neglect, are just fighting for survival in extremely tough circumstances.
I knew education and collaboration with the locals who have a serious lack of opportunities and poor level of education was the only way forward. By bringing in visitors to appreciate this space which in essence goes hand in hand with teaching locals of the harm the jungles faces are simple steps to preserve it with the love and respect it deserves With this winning combination, we can all become guardians of the “lung’s of the earth”.
What is the goal?
Jungle Jim Tours has been hosting world-class jungle excursions for over ten years. They're top ranked on trip advisor, and have countless five star reviews. They are without question, some of the best at what they do. What's even more incredible, is that they have been providing this service with no property of their own and extremely limited resources. They're profits go right back to their villages and community.

Packages below are discounted over 50% and include airfare (estimates), hotel stays prior to your visit, food, lodging, jungle tours, ayahuasca ceremonies, and more.
